Janurary 2016: Monthly Favourites

At the end of each month its common for bloggers to do a round-up of all the products they've been loving throughout the month. I've decided to experiment a bit and do a different type of post at the end of each month and today I have a January Favourites but next month it will be something different.
 The Too Faced 'Better Than Sex' Mascara has been one of my most used products for ages, I love the effect it has on my lashes and I've been using it almost every single day throughout the last month or two. I also wear it with the Collection Work the Colour Eye Shadow Pencil in Vanilla Sky and I just blend this creamy pencil onto my lids and team it with the mascara and it's been a look I've been loving. Also underneath my eyes I've been frequently using the Miss Sporty Perfect Stay Liquid Concealer and this is a gorgeous consistency that hides imperfections really well.
 One of my go-to winter lip shades has been the Essence Nude Lipstick in Shade 5 and this is a really pretty nude shade. Also sticking to the nude theme, the Makeup Revolution 'New'trals vs Neutrals' palette has been one of my most used palettes this month too. I've kind of neglected this palette since purchasing it but I honestly don't know why, I love this palette. The shades are so much different to your average nude tones. The warm toned shades have been perfect for winter.
 Also from Makeup Revolution, the new Ultra Cream Contour Palette has been an awesome product for me this month, the creamy and pigmented consistencies blend super easily for a really natural looking finish. I have also been loving the new Limited Edition Vaseline Sugar Coated Lip Balm too.

Hey guys Today I thought of doing a quick post today. Today I wanted to do a 'How To' post and this one is Applying False Nails. Even though it's easy, you need to do it properly so they look as natural as possible. And I'm going to tell you how I apply my false nails. You need: False Nails (you can get them cheap in supermarkets, makeup stores etc) Nail Glue (most nails come with glue, but you can buy glue at Superdrug for around £4 ( www.superdrug.co.uk ) Cuticle Pusher or cuticle stick Nail scissors (curved work best) Emery board 1) Begin by selecting the false nails that best fit your natural nail. It needs to be accurate because it will look more realistic. 2) Use a cuticle stick/pusher and gently push your cuticles back to avoid the nail sticking to it (which, will hurt if you take them off!!) If you want, you can cut the cuticles off. 3) Apply nail glue all over the natural nail. Be careful with the glue - it bonds in seconds, difficult to remove

MUA Cosmetics Review

Hey everyone Last week for my birthday, I went shopping and while I was in Superdrug and I  picked up some things from MUA (Makeup Academy). There are some products here I haven't tried, one product I have but not this particular name. I actually fell in love with this brand when it was a very small company when everything was £1! Then the company expanded which made me very happy and so I tried   these products and I have mixed reviews. The first product I am reviewing is the BB Cream. This is £4 in the MUA online store ( www.muastore.co.uk ) or in Superdrug ( www.superdrug.com ). I wanted a BB Cream because I find foundation is too heavy and is bad for your skin and I started to go off tinted moisturizer. Anyway, for the price in general is OK for the product. I bought Shade Medium last week and I think this is a bit too dark for me even though the medium and light shade are very similar. The BB Cream is easy to blend. For me, this is going to be mixed with something light
