Get Ready with Me: Evening Meal Out

I'm going for a meal out at a nice, fancy Chinese restaurant with my family and some friends. Get ready with me for an evening meal out!

The first thing I do is use Superdrug Face Wipes to remove any excess makeup or oil.
The next thing I do is wash and exfoliate my face using Garnier Fresh Clarifying Wash and St Ives Naturally Clear Face Scrub.
The next thing is to moisturise and I use Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser.

For my makeup I am keeping it simple and I am beginning by using MUA Pro Brow Kit.

The next thing I am doing is priming my eyelids and applying P.S. Love Liquid Eyeliner with a small wing.

After curling my lashes I am using Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Lash Extending Treatment Mascara.

I'm going for the classic red lip this evening and I am beginning by using MUA red liner followed by the MUA Red lipstick. To finish my makeup I am using some Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Colour Lipgloss in Red.

My dress is from Primark and I love it because it's white with black roses. It's lightweight and quite flowy and I wear a black skinny belt. I combined it with a cobalt blue blazer which is from Primark. The shoes I am wearing are black wedges with black sparkles and they are from Deichmanns.

Even though it's easy, you need to do it properly so they look as natural as possible. And I'm going to tell you how I apply my false nails. You need: False Nails (you can get them cheap in supermarkets, makeup stores etc) Nail Glue (most nails come with glue, but you can buy glue at Superdrug for around £4 ( www.superdrug.co.uk ) Cuticle Pusher or cuticle stick Nail scissors (curved work best) Emery board 1) Begin by selecting the false nails that best fit your natural nail. It needs to be accurate because it will look more realistic. 2) Use a cuticle stick/pusher and gently push your cuticles back to avoid the nail sticking to it (which, will hurt if you take them off!!) If you want, you can cut the cuticles off. 3) Apply nail glue all over the natural nail. Be careful with the glue - it bonds in seconds, difficult to remove

MUA Cosmetics Review

Hey everyone Last week for my birthday, I went shopping and while I was in Superdrug and I  picked up some things from MUA (Makeup Academy). There are some products here I haven't tried, one product I have but not this particular name. I actually fell in love with this brand when it was a very small company when everything was £1! Then the company expanded which made me very happy and so I tried   these products and I have mixed reviews. The first product I am reviewing is the BB Cream. This is £4 in the MUA online store ( www.muastore.co.uk ) or in Superdrug ( www.superdrug.com ). I wanted a BB Cream because I find foundation is too heavy and is bad for your skin and I started to go off tinted moisturizer. Anyway, for the price in general is OK for the product. I bought Shade Medium last week and I think this is a bit too dark for me even though the medium and light shade are very similar.
