Tutorial | DIY Professional Manicure

We all want professional looking manicures without the professional price. But instead of splurging tons of money on getting someone in a salon to file your nails each week, you can easily do it yourself at home.
To do your own at-home manicure either on yourself, or someone else, you will need:
- Nail Polish Remover
- Cotton Pads and Cotton Buds
- Shallow Bowl with Warm Water
- Hand wash
- Nail Brush
- Manicure Set including Nail Scissors, Nail Clippers, Cuticle Sticks/Pushers, Nail File or Emery Board
- Cuticle Cream or Softener
- Nail Block
- Hand Lotion
- Clear Nail Polish
- Nail Polish Colour of Your Choice
- Hand Towel
As you can see my nails are very bad, I have a bad habit of nail biting and my cuticles are really bad.
Begin by filling a shallow bowl with warm water. Be careful to not make the water too hot otherwise it will burn you.
Add some hand wash to the bowl and mix it to make bubbles. Soak your hand for a few minutes. Take a nail brush and clean the nails.
Dry your hands on a towel and apply some hand lotion, applying extra on the nails to re-condition the skin around the nail.
Apply a cuticle softener and take a cuticle pusher to gently push back the cuticles.
Trim the cuticles off by using nail scissors.
If your nails are long and you want them shorter, clip them with nail clippers and re-shape them with the nail file.
Polish and shine the nails with a nail block.
Paint a clear nail polish onto your nails
Once you have finished, apply any colour nail polish or false nails you desire.

So I hope you guys enjoyed this
