Haul | Summer Clothing June 2013

Image
Hey guys! Yay! A clothing haul! I know I said I was doing a monthly one but I lost track of that so I decided to do a Summer Statement instead. Yesterday I was shopping and got a few things I needed for  my holidays coming up. The clothes I got are mainly tee's, because I didn't have  a lot of money this week, but maybe the week after this I will get the rest of stuff I want because this Sunday will be a recovery day because my Prom is Friday!! Yay!!! So come back in about 2 weeks to see Part 2. I'm not going to waste time talking about the vest tops, I'm just going to show you which ones I decided to get. These vest tops are from Primark and they are £2/£2.50 Fuchsia Violet Turquoise Black/White Stripe I really like these £3 tops from Primark because they are great value for money and are really comfortable, I usually go towards these because I don't get a lot of money, so these are perfect if you're on a budget. Capture your School Memories in One Box

Hey guys!! Today I have a super cute and super cheap DIY project for you. If you are a parent and your kid is starting nursery in September or your kid is joining a new primary school in September or you yourself are moving to a new Secondary school, College, University, further education (Sixth Form) or even a new job, I am going to show you how to capture all of those good memories in one box. As you know I graduated Year 11 last week and from that I got signed shirts, year books, cards, letters etc. Throughout my five years at the school, I've gotten certificates, letters, photos, exam results, etc and I'm collecting them in my little box :) My box is from Soap and Glory. It had some of their products in it and I kept the box and found it the other day so I thought I'd make this little memory box. You need to get some things throughout your school years that are important to you. In my box there is: - My signed school blouse - My yearbook - M

Back to School | Revision Tips

Hey guys Exam season is starting and I'm sure a lot of you are not looking forward to them. It can be really difficult to revise some subjects, but once you have a 'timetable' it can be really easy. You can use the same process for all subjects.  Some of these exam tips I have got from my old school planner, and other ones are just what I follow when I revise so I hope you find this useful. 1) See what subjects you have an exam for and when that exam is. For example, I have a Geography exam on Wednesday, a Maths exam Monday and another Geography exam Tuesday. That isn't a lot of time time to revise. However, I am on study leave so that means I have all day, every day to revise. I had a Chemistry Exam today so no revision tonight, I have all day tomorrow. 2) It is always important not to spend large amounts of time on a revision section. Usually, exam subjects have 3 modules or units that you are revised on, like Science for example. If it doesn't, divide the

Homemade Thank-You Present for Art Teachers

Image
Hey guys, On Friday I graduate from Year 11 and I am making some cupcakes to give to our head of year, who is also our art teacher. This is a really cute idea and I'm going to show you how to make them :) These cupcakes are best for your art teacher because they look like an art palette because there are rainbow colours and are super easy to make. This is a really cute idea because we signed the palette and put the cupcakes on top, so when the cupcakes are gone, she has a palette and paintbrush to remember us all by :) Cupcakes differ slightly to recipe, but its the same recipe. I decided to add a pink later.  For the Sponge: 70g butter, softened 70g caster sugar 70g self raising flour 1 medium egg 1/4 tsp vanilla extract 1/4 tsp baking powder To decorate: Food Colouring: Red , Yellow , Green and Blue 70g butter, softened 140g icing sugar 1-2 tablespoons milk To present: Wooden artists palette Clay paintbrush Other essentials: 6 cupcake cases La

Weekly Roundup Review | Superdrug Vitamin E Skincare

Image
First, I apologize  about the quality of the photos, I uploaded them from my phone to the App like I usually do so I don't know what happened there but I hope you guys can see them. I am back to blogging! Things have simmered down a bit here now and since its half term and I've been shopping I am doing a series of reviews because I don't usually do them. I did a face mask review and published that earlier so you can read about some of the face masks I love here . Today's review is the Superdrug Vitamin E Skincare Range that I found recently and I have fallen in love with it. There is a current promotion at Superdrug, 2 for £4, or about £2.99 each. There is a wide range of products from wipes to face cleansers and these are the recent products I have bought.

Blog Updates... YAY!

Hey everyone I decided to make a few changes to my blog. Yay! The first thing I am doing is merging my baking blog to this one and I am adding some other stuff to it as well, like OOTDs, organising for Sixth Form and I'm doing a Prom Series next year. I have upcoming travel plans so I will be doing a travel packing series etc in July. This is basically what I have planned for the next few months: JULY Since I am off school for the whole month of July, I will be drafting some blog posts about going back to school in September. I am going for a weekend away and a week away in July so I will do a packing post, stuff like that and other stuff like tutorials and of course, the weekly roundups. AUGUST I am off school this month as well, and I am on holiday in the middle of August so posts that I have previously drafted will be published as usual from my phone. August is when I will publish the back to school stuff and I will do clothing hauls, OOTDs etc. I have merged my
