Summer | Summer Tag

Hey guys For today's Summer Statement I'm doing the Summer tag so hope you like it :) What is your favourite summer nail polish? ☀My favourite summer nail polish, that i own, is a hot pink by Colour. I love the finish and the colour. I have seen two that I don't have which are now officially my favourites. I'm not sure of the exact colour name but it is a gorgeous light coral and soft aqua colour by NYC. What is your favourite lip colour this summer? ☀NYC Apply lip tint in Applicious pink. Its a balm so it softens your lips as well as apply colour. The colour is a hot pink which I am loving right now so a lip tint is my fave. Show us your favourite summer dress. ☀My first favourite summer dress is actually used as a cover up thing from primark. Its my fave hot pink colour and comes down to about my knees and i love the material. My second favourite, the one that I actually wear most of the time is a dress from Primark that is blue and white stripy and has a b

Tag | Random Beauty

Hey guys Yesterday I got told to do a tag on my blog and I asked her to send me a tag she wanted me to do. Last night she sent me this one and I am going to answer the questions for you guys :) Questions: 1.) Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows? ❤ I think I would rather lose my palettes and eyeshadows because my most common makeup products are mascaras, eyeliners and lip stuff. 2.) Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again? ❤Erm, I'd probably rather never be able to cut it again because about ten years ago, i wanted super long hair and was growing it but my mum took me to the hair dressers to get it trimmed but she told the hairdresser to cut it off! So for about three years I had a horrible un-even bob and i was waiting for it to grow out. Thats why i'd chose to never have it cut again. 3.) Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek? ❤I w

Introducing SparkleEyes Bake-Up 101!

Hey guys You may or may not know but I have recently started a new blog that is a completley different topic to this one. It is a baking blog, baking is another common thing in my life because I love making cupcakes especially so I thought I would make a blog to share that. Anyway, the name is similar to this blog. The link to my other blog is sparkleeyesbakeup101.blogspot.com . Basically, I changed the 'm' in makeup for a 'b' so it is really similar. I won't be posting on that blog as often as I do on this blog, there might be a few quick recipes here and there but probably a bigger recipe will be published at the end of the month. Reviews for ingredients or equipment will be up as well, I'm going to review some food colouring there later so look out for that. Hope you guys like the blog, don't forget to visit it! Summer | Favourite Lip Tints

Hey guys Recently I have been discovering a load of amazing lip balm tints that apparently haven't been visible to me in Superdrug before so I though it was a bit of coincidence that the sun has come out and brands are bringing out lip tints for this season but anyway, I have tried some and I wanted to share some of them with you guys :) Last year, I bought a Moisturizing Lip Tint from ELF for £3.75 in the colour Blush. I loved it because it was a gorgeous colour and it was very hydrating on my lips as well.  Literally last week I found NYC's Apple Lip Balm in Superdrug, 2 for £3. I LOVE these because they are very hydrating, come in different colours and have absolutely gorgeous pigmentation! I got a sheer pink and a bolder pink shade. The sheer pink is called 'Pink Lady' and the second shade is called 'Applicious pink'. Lip product wise, if you do go away, get some of these! They are about £2.50 each I think, but I got these on promotion so I don't k

Summer | Travel Beauty Products

Image
Hey guys Today I wanted to do another Summer Statement and this one is Travel Beauty Products. This post is quite important if you are travelling via an airport because airport security is so strict about what you take with you onto the plane so this is post is the bare essentials that you need on a plane. You may think you can take your full makeup kit but honestly, do you need it? When you're travelling you need light or bare makeup because if you do your makeup completely it is a bit too trying so these are the things you should take with you.  There isn't a limit to how many wipes you can take with you, well, there is, but it depends on the maximum limit for an airline. Anyway, if you're just going on a holiday and are only on two planes you only need one pack for that length of time. You may need more depending on how many people are going but basically, these are the wipes you could probably find useful. Halo Eye Make-Up Remover Pads x30 £1.50 Available in

Summer | Hair Care

Image
Hey guys This is the hair care part of the Summer Statement because your hair needs to be looked after all year round, but particularly in the summer because the sun dries it out and strips it of its moisture. Most of these products are from Mark Hill and you can get these at Boots. Even though I haven't used these products I'm trusting they work because I've used some other stuff and they are amazing so I don't see why this collection is different. But, when you go on holiday, it is a good idea to always condition your hair because like I said, your hair gets dried out and the moisture is stripped from it. When I'm on holiday I wash it everyday, mostly because I don't have a choice, after the sand, chlorine and salt water gets in it... Especially if you have blonde hair or lighter hair the chlorine from pools makes it look green so you need to wash and condition it. Obviously, you can take your normal shampoo and conditioner but these are some extra product

Summer | Sun Care

Image
Hey guys This is the first part of the Summer Statement and it is Sun Care. You can go to Superdrug for a wider range of products but these are a few products that I've picked out. Garnier Ambre Solaire Golden Protect Lotion (Available in SPF 10, 20, 30 and 50) Prices from £6.98 - £7.48 in Superdrug This I used when I was on holiday in Indonesia last year and my favourite thing about this is that its golden and leaves gold glitter on your skin. I really like this and its good if you want to splurge  a little more and it does last a few weeks because you don't really need a lot of this. If you're going away for about three weeks, I suggest about two bottles roughly but the amount you want to take is up to you, obviously, but this can be quite a pricey product. However, when I was using this it didn't seem waterproof so if you go swimming a lot, I don't recommend it, but if you are one of those people that just lay on the beach doing nothing then this is th

Summer | Create Your Own Lipstick Palette

Hey guys So, when you go on holiday for however long, it can always be difficult choosing which lipstick colours to take with you, because you might have so many (like I do) and the decision may be a little hard or you forget to bring one or there just isn't room for more than a few. If you're like that and you want an easy solution, you can begin jumping up and down in 3...2...1 *jumps up and down*!! In all seriousness, I am going to show you an easy way to carry most of your lipsticks with you and all you need is... 💄A selection of lipsticks 💄A large metal spoon 💄A lighter (or the flames from your kitchen hob) 💄Either contact lens case, bead box or something that has different sections and a lid Take your lipsticks and cut off the amount you want with a cocktail stick. Put that in a large metal spoon and hold it over a flame. After about a minute, the lipstick would have melted. Pour this into its new home. Keep doing this until you have done all the lipsticks

☀ Introducing... Summer Statement ☀

Hey guys If you read my tweets you will know that I tweeted yesterday or the other day whenever it was that if the weather doesn't warm up soon and the sun doesn't come out, I will start hibernating (#hurryupsummer). It is the beginning of April it is means to be Spring but so far the only Sun we have had is the newspaper. Anyway, stores like Boots and Superdrug have started to get their summer shops in and I have decided to follow up on the Summer Series like I did last June/July, but this time I want it to be better and bigger than before and go even more detailed and maybe spread a bit more into fashion that is more affordable, summer tutorials etc. However, that will be tailored more towards tropical destinations because that is where everyone seems to go in the Summer but that doesn't mean you can't use some of the tips in the UK or wherever you live because it will apply to anywhere really. Anyway, as far as I know, I'm not going on the 'big' holiday

Haul | Superdrug April 2013

Image
Hey guys First of all, I hope you had a good Easter. It is the half term holidays, which means more blogging and of course, more shopping. Today I went shopping again and I bought some more MUA stuff and I bought something from NYC. Since I seem to be buying more and more stuff, I decided that instead of doing separate hauls every week or so, I'm going to photograph the products when I buy them, upload them as a post and save as a draft and keep doing this throughout the month and publish the Haul as 'April 2013 Haul' or something like that. Anyway, that will start at the end of this month and this is the haul from today.  MUA Intense Kisses High Intensity Gloss - £2 This is a lip gloss that I haven't tried before but for £2, I decided I was going to buy it. I got the shade 'Quick Kiss' which is a really nice bolder pink shade.  MUA Lip Boom - £3 I've bought two of these before and this one is called 'Bring it' and its a red and has a s
