MUA Cosmetics Skin Define Foundation and Primer

Image
It's been a while since we've seen something new from MUA Cosmetics on the shelves of Superdrug. As I was *browsing* through my local store, I saw that this brand had released some new products so I hesitantly bought their new foundation and primer but being optimistic I thought I'd give it a go.

Everyday Spring Makeup Tutorial

Image
Today's tutorial features a purple-halo eye makeup look which has been something I've been wearing a lot recently as I think it's perfect for an everyday look.

Dramatic Easter Makeup Tutorial

Image
I wanted this Easter makeup look to be a little bit different from what I've done before and from what I've seen other people do. I wanted the main colour focus to be 'Bitten' by Makeup Geek and I also wanted to incorporate glitter and add a little bit of definition and to make it smokey.

Spring Clean your Makeup

Image
Let's be honest, ladies, we all probably have one or two makeup products in our makeup bags that we've been hoarding because its a pretty colour or has nice packaging - but using old expired makeup isn't going to be doing you any favours. Since Spring is in the air, its time for a Spring Clean and I thought I would do a break-down of makeup expiration dates and when to throw them out while I have a spring clean-out of my own makeup collection.

Collection Eyes Uncovered Part Two

Image
Think back to last year when Collection released three stunning eye shadow palettes that everybody fell head-over-heels for. Well, they've done it again! Collection have extended the Eyes Uncovered collection and released three new shade options.

L'Oreal Blush Sculpt Trio Contouring Blush

Image
One makeup product I don't usually buy are blushes and L'Oreal is a brand I've recently started to enjoy experimenting with so I was really excited when I saw these Blush Sculpt Trio Contouring Blush, £7.99 each, and there are three different shades and I decided to pick up two of them; shade 101 Soft Sand and 102 Nude Beige.

Rainbow Eye Makeup Tutorial

Image
St. Patricks Day is coming up later in the week and I've done a makeup tutorial every year for the last few years now, and I thought this was the perfect opportunity to share this makeup look I created; it's a glamorous golden eye makeup look with pop of colour from a rainbow design on the lower lash line.

Makeup Geek Eye Shadow Pans

Image
Based in the United States, Makeup Geek Eye Shadows are a popular product among makeup artists and YouTubers and are known for their high quality and low prices. Now available in the UK through the Beauty Bay website, I purchased 9 shades that I frequently see used in makeup tutorials online and created a custom Z Palette (sold separately) and I chose the small leopard print one.

Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Foundation

Image
Recently I've been trying out different foundations suited for my oily/combination skin type and I have seen the Soap & Glory Heck of a Blot Foundation, £12, pop up on Twitter and Bloglovin' so I decided to give it a try. This retails in Boots and this is a 'fabulous, flawless, full coverage foundation' with Shine Bloc, 12 Hour wear and super blur powers.

Maybelline the Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara

Image
One of the main things I look for in a mascara is length and volume and judging from the new Maybelline mascara, "the Falsies Push Up Drama" mascara, £7.99, I was hoping that this would achieve that false-lash effect I look for.

Sleek i-Lust 'The Gold Standard' Eye Shadow Palette

Image
The Sleek i-Lust Eye Shadow palette contains six super gorgeous and luscious gold toned shades. Retailing at £7.49, this collection of eye shadows is 'sexy, strong and confident, inspired by the pretty, polished perfection of the beauty elite.'

Smokey Brown Eye Makeup Tutorial

Image
I recently treated myself to two of the Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Cream Eye Shadow Sticks, and let me tell you... they're stunning! I created this simple, yet striking, everyday smokey eye makeup look using the two shades that I have which are called "Almond Eyes" and "Feline Fox".
