Hello everyone, it is nearing the end of 2014 and I wanted to make a special blog post about this year in particular. While the end of 2013 and start of 2014 was incredibly hard for me, I wanted to recap on the positive things that have happened this year, on and off of my blog because 2014 has been quite eventful. I also have some favourites for December in this blog post too.

It's nearly the end of 2014 and I feel like the second half of this year has just flown by. This is a smokey and glittery eye that is perfect for seeing in the New Year.

Hello, everyone, I hope you all had a really great Christmas and had a fun-filled day! Today's blog post is a Christmas Gift Haul of the presents that I received yesterday. This isn't trying to brag about what I got, this is simply for anyone who is interested in seeing what I got, most of it being makeup.

On the tenth day of Christmas blogging, the Christmas tutorial today is a wearable one that is perfect for Christmas day. It can pass as a day or night look and I decided to use a technique that is quite popular recently; an ombré lip.

On the eighth day of Christmas blogging, it's a well known fact that I love baking, and eating, cupcakes. Of course I had to do Christmas cupcakes! These are really easy, yet effective, Christmas cupcakes that look so cute.

On the sixth day of Christmas blogging, I decided to do the Christmas Tag! Christmas is one week away so I thought I would tag some people at the end to spread festivity around the blogging community!

On the fifth day of Christmas blogging, my family and I have finally put up the Christmas decorations in our house. I am going to be showing you some of my favourite decorations and how we decorated the house this year.

On the fourth day of Christmas blogging, I decided to do a holly and ivy themed makeup look. Decorating with holly from the Common is always a tradition in our house and when it gets closer to Christmas I love the dark green holly colour. This tutorial is inspired somewhat by the song 'Holly and the Ivy' but also because holly and ivy is a traditional Christmas thing.

On the third day of Christmas blogging I am going to do a Christmas biscuit recipe. I am combining two things I love, Christmas and biscuits, to create this super easy Christmas recipe that are perfect treats for kids, or for the big kid within you. These are so fun to make and they just let your creativity run wild and you can decorate them in any way you like. I'm making snowflake patterns on a round biscuit but you can do any design, shape or pattern you want. 

On the second day of Christmas blogging, I decided to bring you my Christmas playlist. I started playing these Christmas songs in October because that is how much I love Christmas tunes, and even though it annoyed people it was fun. I also decided to add some Christmas films too because it's Christmas! Why not?

On the first day of Christmas blogging, I am doing a golden inspired look based on Christmas bells. This is a wearable look that has a nude lip and quite a bold winged eyeliner but I really like it and I hope you do too.

This is one of the three new Winter-themed palettes MUA Cosmetics have launched this year alone. This is the Romantic Efflorescence Palette, £4, which contains a range of matte and pearl eye shadows in a variety of golden and berry tones. 

MUA Cosmetics have yet again released another one of their classic 12-shade eye shadow palettes. This recently released palette is called 'Twelfth Night' and contains 12 jeweled inspired winter shades. When I saw that this palette was in Superdrug for £4, I immediately picked it up. 

The palette that I am using for the Winter inspired tutorial is the MUA Matte Winter Forest Palette. This palette has smokey, blue and brown tones which are perfect for the season. I will be using the blues as an inspiration of winter and I will be combining this with the brown shades to keep this look quite delicate and wearable throughout winter.

I've been on a bit of a Lush craze at the moment and this is the fourth product I am reviewing in the last two months. Today I am reviewing an exciting Christmas product called Luxury Lush Pud. This retails at £3.50.

Just in time for Winter, MUA Cosmetics have launched a new matte palette called Winter Forest. This contains another 10 matte shades that are perfect for the winter months. I loved the last MUA Matte Palette so fingers crossed this one is just as good. 

Unfortunately, there are not as many favourites for November as there were last month, but I have tried to use as many products as I can to find out which products I have been loving this month.

I'm usually on the hunt for an interesting new mascara to try and when this Wonerfu'll Mascara with Argan Oil by Rimmel caught my eye, I had to buy and try. I've seen this in several places for different prices but I purchased this in Sainsbury's for £8. In Superdrug I believe it is £7.99. I'm really looking forward to trying this mascara and this shade is Extreme Black.

I made a cheeky visit to the teeny tiny Lush store in Waterloo station during my day trip to London during October half term and they mainly had Christmas products in stock along with a few classic products. I picked up three bath bombs, this one which is called Butter Bear, I repurchased Granny Takes a Dip and I bought another new Christmas bath bomb which I will review at a later date. This one is a cocoa butter and vanilla scented Christmas bear called Butter Bear and this retails at £1.95.

Today's review is on the NYC Beautifying Blushable Cream Stick. These are available in Superdrug for £2.99 and there are two shades available - Soho Pink and Never Sleeping Pink.

There are hundreds of tips and tricks out there that helps you to look your best at all times. I know quite a few tips and tricks that I constantly use so all of these definitely work. Here are my favourite makeup tips that you can add in to your beauty routine.

Today's review is on the four new lipstick from Makeup Academy's original £1 lipstick line. These new lipsticks are available from Superdrug or the MUA Online store.

I was stuck for inspiration so I admit I Googled some ideas and I saw this 'Top 10 products for under £10' and it was something I haven't done so today's post is my top ten beauty products that cost under £10.

I was so excited about this tutorial because this palette is a new favourite. I reviews this palette a few blog posts ago and this is the tutorial. The palette contains a mixture of shades and I wanted to use the golden and brown shades mainly and this is a cut-crease look so I hope you enjoy.

This bubble bar from Lush is my favourite bubble bar of all time and it retails at £4.50 in store or online.

It was only a few months ago I did a makeup collection and storage but I wanted to update what I had set up. There has been some new additions onto my makeup table so this is my updated makeup collection and storage.  Disclaimer: I am not trying to brag about the amount of makeup I have, this is simply for those who are interested in seeing how I organize my makeup and what I have. I am an aspiring makeup artist and this is a hobby, all bought for that purpose. I have seen lots of other people do this so if you are not interested in seeing the makeup collection of a makeup artist than click off now.

With the 5th November approaching, I decided it was time to create a Firework themed tutorial suitable for the occasion. This look is dramatic meets bright and uses vibrant colours with darker shades and I also wanted to add a few rhinestones to replicate the sparkles of fireworks.

Earlier this week my Mum and I decided to embark on an adventurous day out to London. We haven't really spent a lot of time in London considering it is only a thirty minute train ride, and the last time we both went was either for a school trip or a work conference. It was something different we could do and despite the weather being a bit poor, we still managed to make the most of the day going around London.

This Halloween tutorial is quite a wearable Halloween look and it a lot more simple than it looks.

I saw this look on a TV programme a few weeks ago and it gave me inspiration for a Halloween tutorial because I was stuck for inspiration. For every Halloween as a child I always went as a witch because I was just so uncreative back then (hopefully my creativity has improved as I have gotten older?) so this tutorial is themed around the witch either from Wicked or Wizard of Oz and I used varied green shades.

This is a dark and intense vampire themed makeup look that has both dark eyes and lips. I wanted to do a dark Halloween look compared to the other ones I have done this year and this one is a very intense black look with a hint of burgundy and red.

I  have seen this particular tutorial a lot this year and I decided to test my ability and challenge myself to do the 'Sugar Skull' makeup for my first Halloween tutorial. This uses face paints which I haven't used before, but for tips on how to use face paints see the blog post here . 

I don't know why I haven't done a monthly favourites before, but since everyone else does them, I thought I'd join in. I have been loving so many products this month and I am excited to share with you what these products are.

For an upcoming Halloween tutorial I will be using face paints and I have never used face paints before then so to fit into that I decided to create a guide of the basic steps of how to use face paints. Generally, the idea is quite simple but there are some things to consider when using them. These tips are from the Snazaroo face paint website but are the same for all types of paints from different brands.

Collection have recently launched a new line of products called 'Galactica'. I decided I was going to try two of their new lip butters so I picked up Shade 01, called Pink Rush and Shade 03 called, Moon Rock.

I have been nominated to do the Leibster Award Tag by Julie over at A Girl from Glasgow! I've already done this once but since I have been presented with new questions I decided to do it again!

How could I not buy the newest MUA Palette? This palette is the Hall of Fame Palette that contains 12 of their most popular shades from popular existing palettes. Like all the other palettes, this is £4 in Superdrug or on the online MUA store.

This is my first Christmas post of 2014 and this one is a Rich Fruit Christmas Cake that my Grandma makes every year around this time and I usually help her as well but this year I decided to make this into a blog post because this cake is a family favourite and a tradition at Christmas.

The last review of a Collection Mascara was the 5 in 1 Mascara which has overtaken the most popular post of all time so you guys seemed to love that review. Today I am reviewing the Big Fake Curves Mascara which is £4.99 in Superdrug. 

I have not been to Lush in a very long time and I was very glad that I went in there when I did. I new that Lush had new products from looking at their website and I saw this in store and it was the only bath bomb I wanted to buy. It is called Granny Takes a Dip and it is £3.25.

Photo day is coming up very soon and I thought now would be the perfect time to do a makeup tutorial for photo day that works for flash portrait photography.  

I went on a mission to buy Autumn clothes today but Superdrug was far to tempting and I bought some new makeup and beauty products as well as buying clothes.

We have finally come to the last Princess Inspired Tutorial and this one is themed by Merida from Brave. This look is green and gold with coral lips to imitate her fiery red hair.

This Rapunzel Inspired tutorial uses lilac shades and a touch of gold to replicate her hair. I loved this film when it came out and this has been one of my favourite tutorials to do.

Blogging is a hobby that I love and it is so easy to start your own blog. My blog was inspired by my favourite interest and in this blog post I will share my tips of how to start a blog from my own experience.

For this tutorial, not only did I want it to be inspired by Tiana but I wanted to have a hint of a Mardi-Gras and New Orleans theme since it was the setting of the movie but I am still sticking to a green theme and all I am doing is just adding splashes of bright colours.

Earlier this afternoon I was in town shopping with my friend, Abi, and we spent quite a lot of money while we were there. Today I am showing you what I bought while out on a shopping adventure and a lot of it is new products so I will be reviewing them throughout October. In the mean time, I hope you enjoy this haul.

This tutorial is inspired by Mulan and I decided to create a wearable pink look based on Chinese lotus flowers.

Today's tutorial is inspired by Autumn and I still wanted to make it an everyday wearable look throughout the Autumn months. The palette I am using is MUA Heaven and Earth Palette and MUA Undressed Too Palette.

Today's tutorial is a brown toned tribal look themed on Pocahontas. This is a wearable look that can even be worn on an everyday basis.

Possibly my favourite tutorial in this series so far! Today's look is inspired by Jasmine from the movie Aladdin. It's based on an Arabic theme of teal with a tiny detail of gold and I decided to add some lashes as well.

I was quite excited to see these new face masks from Superdrug available. I couldn't resist in buying two out of the three varieties available. The first one I picked up was the Purifying Facial Sheet which Revitalizes normal to oily skin. The second is a Cleansing Formula Sheet suitable for all skin types. These are available at the slightly higher price of £1.29.

Today's tutorial is based on Belle from Beauty and the Beast. I love this look because of its simplicity but at the same time its quite formal.

I love the Little Mermaid and have been so excited to create this tutorial. It is really simple and they eye makeup is just two MUA colours and I used a template to create the scales to make it more effective.
