Lush 'Luxury Lush Pud' Bath Bomb Review

I've been on a bit of a Lush craze at the moment and this is the fourth product I am reviewing in the last two months. Today I am reviewing an exciting Christmas product called Luxury Lush Pud. This retails at £3.50.

Luxury Lush Pud has a really nice, significant Christmas scent which is very uplifting but not too overpowering. It is a round shape that is a hot pink colour. It sort of looks like a Christmas pudding with the white at the top and it has specks of orange, blue, yellow and green mini fizz bombs surrounding the edge of the bath bomb. It is finished off very nicely with holly on the centre of the top of the bath bomb.

This is quite a big bath bomb so I'm expecting loads of fizz and lots of colour. 

Lush are being very secretive and described this product as having a surprise inside the bath bomb. After running a bath, plop this into the water and be fascinated at watching it fizz.

This is so quick to start fizzing and as soon as it touched the water it blew up into an explosion of psychedelic colours that trailed through the water. Each of the individual colours of orange, blue, yellow and green broke off from the pink and spread out over the surface of the water and fizzed by themselves so it expands throughout the entire bath. The pink part of the bomb fizzed very quickly whereas the smaller colours took a longer time so while you relax you can let them fizz around you.

I loved how there was speckles of colour throughout the water as it erupted. It was so fascinating and pleasurable to watch and as it fizzed, the scent filled the bathroom.

There was a white foam cast over the water with colours of yellow, orange, blue and pink marbled through. This was really nice and settled on the water for a short amount of time while the rest of the bomb finished fizzing.

I found the little holly had sunk to the bottom of the bath. This might be a bath melt because I can no longer find it but I'm not sure if it is. As for the surprise the bath is filled with silver glitter which looks so pretty against the hot pink water that is left.

Overall, a really great Christmas Lush product. I definitely love this one and I will be repurchasing throughout Christmas. It is so relaxing and the glittery and pink water is a nice princessy effect.
