Smoke and Glitter New Years Eve Makeup Tutorial
It's nearly the end of 2014 and I feel like the second half of this year has just flown by. This is a smokey and glittery eye that is perfect for seeing in the New Year.
Before starting this tutorial, prime your eyes and apply a white eyeliner base all over the lid. Stick a piece of tape at a 45 degree angle against the eye.
Using an eye crease brush, trace a line of black eye shadow in the crease and use a blending brush to soften the line and blend the shadow against the tape.
Soften the edges of the black with a nude shadow.
The next thing to do is pat a matte light grey all over the lid and blend with the black in the crease.
With a mid-toned grey, pat the colour on to the outer half of the lid, blending with the lighter grey to create a gradient and blend the darker grey with the black.
The next thing to do is pat a shimmery silver shadow on the lid to lightly cover the two toned grey colours. Then with just on the centre of the lid, apply some silver glitter.
Then I added some winged liner, curled my lashes and applied some false eyelashes.
On my lips I used Collection Galactica Lip Butter in Moon Rock with ELF Lip Gloss in Au Naturale.
Happy New Year!
