Monthly Favourites October 2014

I don't know why I haven't done a monthly favourites before, but since everyone else does them, I thought I'd join in. I have been loving so many products this month and I am excited to share with you what these products are.



Makeup Revolution Ultimate Eye Shadow Palette
This palette has all the colours you could possibly want. I would have loved this when I first started blogging. It's a versatile, highly pigmented, long lasting eye shadow palette that is perfect for makeup beginners.

MUA Cosmetics Hall of Fame Palette
This contains 12 of their most popular shades. They are so pigmented, I cannot even begin to explain how much I love them. They lasted for hours and look absolutely amazing.

Seventeen High Drama Intense Liquid Eyeliner
My favourite liquid eyeliner ever. This is a staple item that is always my go-to product. I changed the wand for more precise application but the consistency, pigmentation and the time it stays is absolutely brilliant.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
This is one of the best concealers I have used and a lot of bloggers will agree with me. It stays put all day long, flawlessly blends over imperfections and it is a really good travelling size.

MUA Cosmetics Single Eye Shadows
I literally cannot pick one. I love them all, as I'm sure a lot of you know by now. Super affordable, long lasting and pigmented. It's all you could want in an eye shadow.

NYC City Proof Twistable Lip Crayon
I love this pink colour. It is so pigmented, easy to apply and it glides on without pulling. A lot of people are going for the berry shades but I have been loving this more.

Natural Collection Lipstick
I have been loving the shade Sandcastle which is a nude lipstick. It is such a nice lipstick in terms of affordability and application.

Collection Big Fake Curves Mascara
I love Collection Mascaras and they are such great dupes of the Maybelline Mascaras. I have been loving this mascara because it makes my lashes look longer and it stays all day and all night.

Hey guys Today I thought of doing a quick post today. Today I wanted to do a 'How To' post and this one is Applying False Nails. Even though it's easy, you need to do it properly so they look as natural as possible. And I'm going to tell you how I apply my false nails. You need: False Nails (you can get them cheap in supermarkets, makeup stores etc) Nail Glue (most nails come with glue, but you can buy glue at Superdrug for around £4 ( www.superdrug.co.uk ) Cuticle Pusher or cuticle stick Nail scissors (curved work best) Emery board 1) Begin by selecting the false nails that best fit your natural nail. It needs to be accurate because it will look more realistic. 2) Use a cuticle stick/pusher and gently push your cuticles back to avoid the nail sticking to it (which, will hurt if you take them off!!) If you want, you can cut the cuticles off. 3) Apply nail glue all over the natural nail. Be careful with the glue - it bonds in seconds, difficult to remove

MUA Cosmetics Review

Hey everyone Last week for my birthday, I went shopping and while I was in Superdrug and I  picked up some things from MUA (Makeup Academy). There are some products here I haven't tried, one product I have but not this particular name. I actually fell in love with this brand when it was a very small company when everything was £1! Then the company expanded which made me very happy and so I tried   these products and I have mixed reviews. The first product I am reviewing is the BB Cream. This is £4 in the MUA online store ( www.muastore.co.uk ) or in Superdrug ( www.superdrug.com ). I wanted a BB Cream because I find foundation is too heavy and is bad for your skin and I started to go off tinted moisturizer. Anyway, for the price in general is OK for the product. I bought Shade Medium last week and I think this is a bit too dark for me even though the medium and light shade are very similar. The BB Cream is easy to blend. For me, this is going to be mixed with something light
