Sleek i-Lust 'The Gold Standard' Eye Shadow Palette

The Sleek i-Lust Eye Shadow palette contains six super gorgeous and luscious gold toned shades. Retailing at £7.49, this collection of eye shadows is 'sexy, strong and confident, inspired by the pretty, polished perfection of the beauty elite.'

The packaging of this palette is different to other Sleek palettes, its a matte black casing with shiny gold lettering and a gold outline around the outside. The packaging is very durable, looks very professional and overall it looks like a more expensive palette!
Inside the palette there is a little internal mirror and a duo ended brush and the main attention is those six super beautiful gold, coppery bronze and champagne shades.
Consisting of two rich cream formulas and four silky shimmer powders, there is an array of sparkly, matte and metallic shades.
From left to right the shades are Laurent; a deep plum toned brown shadow with a subtle metallic sparkle, Coco; a rich copper sparkly shadow, Margiela; a rich light chocolate brown cream colour, Vera; an incredible metallic gold, Louis; a cream consistency light rose gold and Vivienne; a shimmery champagne shadow.
Each shade is highly pigmented and stunningly opaque. The eye shadows are silky smooth and the cream formulas are simply gorgeous. Each one blends and applies really well to the eyes, the gold shades will flatter all skin tones and this is the perfect palette to use on a glam party night out. The two cream shades work well as a base to either layer another eye shadow shade on top or on their own as a wash of colour over the lids.
Also in the palette is a duo ended brush, one side is a sponge tip applicator for powdered eye shadow and the other end is a short flat synthetic brush designed to work with the cream formulas. Using the shades from the palette, I created this golden eye makeup look.
Firstly I buffed the shade 'Vera' through the crease.
I used the flat synthetic brush in the palette and applied 'Louis' all over the lid.
To intensify the shade, I then patted 'Vivienne' over the top.
To add some warmth I blended 'Coco' in the crease and fluffed out the colour.
Then I traced 'Laurent' on the Outer V of the eye and blended it out into the lid shade.
To finish the eyes I lined my upper lash line with liquid liner and curled my lashes and applied mascara.

Overall, I LOVE this palette, I think each shade is super luscious and gorgeous, it compliments all skin tones and eye colours and the range of shades are perfect for creating a glamorous golden eye makeup look. There is also a highlighting palette AND three glitter lip glosses in this collection which is called the '24K Gold Collection'.

Have you tried anything from this collection?
