Introducing SparkleEyes Bake-Up 101!

Hey guys


You may or may not know but I have recently started a new blog that is a completley different topic to this one. It is a baking blog, baking is another common thing in my life because I love making cupcakes especially so I thought I would make a blog to share that.

Anyway, the name is similar to this blog. The link to my other blog is sparkleeyesbakeup101.blogspot.com. Basically, I changed the 'm' in makeup for a 'b' so it is really similar.

I won't be posting on that blog as often as I do on this blog, there might be a few quick recipes here and there but probably a bigger recipe will be published at the end of the month. Reviews for ingredients or equipment will be up as well, I'm going to review some food colouring there later so look out for that.

Hey guys Today I thought of doing a quick post today. Today I wanted to do a 'How To' post and this one is Applying False Nails. Even though it's easy, you need to do it properly so they look as natural as possible. And I'm going to tell you how I apply my false nails. You need: False Nails (you can get them cheap in supermarkets, makeup stores etc) Nail Glue (most nails come with glue, but you can buy glue at Superdrug for around £4 ( www.superdrug.co.uk ) Cuticle Pusher or cuticle stick Nail scissors (curved work best) Emery board 1) Begin by selecting the false nails that best fit your natural nail. It needs to be accurate because it will look more realistic. 2) Use a cuticle stick/pusher and gently push your cuticles back to avoid the nail sticking to it (which, will hurt if you take them off!!) If you want, you can cut the cuticles off. 3) Apply nail glue all over the natural nail. Be careful with the glue - it bonds in seconds, difficult to remove

MUA Cosmetics Review

Hey everyone Last week for my birthday, I went shopping and while I was in Superdrug and I  picked up some things from MUA (Makeup Academy). There are some products here I haven't tried, one product I have but not this particular name. I actually fell in love with this brand when it was a very small company when everything was £1! Then the company expanded which made me very happy and so I tried   these products and I have mixed reviews. The first product I am reviewing is the BB Cream. This is £4 in the MUA online store ( www.muastore.co.uk ) or in Superdrug ( www.superdrug.com ). I wanted a BB Cream because I find foundation is too heavy and is bad for your skin and I started to go off tinted moisturizer. Anyway, for the price in general is OK for the product. I bought Shade Medium last week and I think this is a bit too dark for me even though the medium and light shade are very similar. The BB Cream is easy to blend. For me, this is going to be mixed with something light
