How To: Achieve Perfect Brows

Hey everyone

So yesterday one of my friends at school asked me if I had anything on my blog related to tweezers and I didn't, so it gave me the idea to do another How To. This post today is going to be fairly quick and these are all the tips about how to achieve the perfect brows.

The first main thing about your eyebrows is that they are the frame to your face. You can change your look just be re-shaping your brows with an old mascara wand and an eyebrow pencil. The second main tip is an old saying that goes 'eyebrows should be sisters, not twins' which basically means that your eyebrows should not be exactly identical but should look similar.

For those perfect brows you will need some tweezers (slanted edge are best if you have them), an old mascara wand, white eyeliner pencil and an eyebrow pencil that best suits your natural hair colour.

You need to decide how you want them to look. You can have them thicker or thinner, straighter or curved, its up to you.

If you have those random stray hairs underneath your brows, use the tweezers to pluck them out. The best times to do this is right after a hot shower because the hair folecules will be looser and it won't hurt as much or you can get an ice cube and hold it against your brows for a few minutes to numb the folecules so it won't hurt as much. You must grip the base of the hair with the tweezers and pull them out in the direction of the hair. Alternatively, you can darken the areas of your brows you want to keep and pluck the rest and if you want that to be neat you can buy an eyebrow stencil (you can buy one on elf at www.eyeslipsface.com). This step is optional, obviously.

Next, use an old mascara wand to brush the brows so they are neat for the next step. Then, use an eyebrow pencil (or you can use an eyeshadow in a similar colour) to fill in your brows because you are probably going to have gaps between the hairs. Make sure you fill them in neatly otherwise it looks a lot less natural. You can use an eyebrow stencil to make sure they're neat (just make sure that its an accurate shape).

Finally, use a white eyeliner to draw a line under your brows and blend this out. This will highlight them. If you highlight right under the curve of your brow it will make them look more lifted.

I hope you guys like this tutorial and I will see you again soon for a review and a tutorial :)
