Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette Tutorial
While I was having a sort out of my palettes, I came across a lot of palettes that have been pushed under everything and that I haven't really touched a lot so while I was bored I was creating some eye makeup looks and I decided to make some of them into tutorials because I really like how they turned out. This look is created from the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette and its a bronze golden eye.
On a primed eye, I am using a 228 Zoeva brush to buff two-three layers of 'Salted Caramel' into the crease and buffing it into the outer corner and inner corner.
To begin to add some depth, I then took 'Milk Chocolate' on the same brush and blended this slightly lower into the crease over the previous shade.
Moving onto a smaller blending brush, I then blended 'Semi Sweet' into the inner and outer corners and blended them towards the centre of the crease but not all the way, we want just the middle to have none of this shade there.
Going onto the deeper shades on a pencil brush, I mixed 'Black Forest Truffle' and 'Triple Fudge' together and applied this directly into the inner and outer V and used the previous brush to soften the shade.
For the lid shade I wanted it to be gold so I took 'Crème Brulee' and patted a nice opaque layer of this across the lid.
I then blended the edges of the gold into the crease colours using 'Hazelnut' and 'Semi Sweet' mixed together.
To deepen the look I took 'Black Forest Truffle' and 'Triple Fudge' again and applied it on top of where we had previously applied it to make it stand out.
On the lower lash line I created a gradient using 'Amaretto' all across the lower lash line and then 'Cherry Cordial' on the outer third.
To finish off, I created a long, thick wing across the upper lash line
Then I curled my lashes and applied mascara.
What do you think of this look? I think it's a great look for Summer as it's a glamorous bronze look, perfect for the evening time!
