Review | Superdrug Hair Remover Mitt

Today I am doing a review of something I bought in Superdrug last night at work. This is kind of related to Christmas because you can use it if you're wearing a Christmas dress and going to parties etc. This is a hair remover mitt that is apparently an effective alternative to shaving or waxing your legs.

Review | NYC Smooth Skin Mousse Foundation

Image
Today is a review of a type of foundation I have not used before. I am now working in Superdrug and standing in the makeup aisle for over 5 hours a day has its benefits because I get to play around with all the stuff, recommend products to customers etc. I was going to buy the Maybelline Dream Matte Foundation but that was £7.99. The NYC one is only £3.99.

BlogTober | Cheshire Cat Halloween Makeup Tutorial

Image
Hey guys, Today's BlogTober is a Halloween Look, as promised. I am basing it off Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland. The reason I am basing it of Cheshire Cat is because I need to do this makeup for a friend for my fairytale photography and decided to create a halloween look, but I have no idea who is going as a Cheshire Cat for halloween... It was really fun creating this to put on someone else and I am going to show you how to do it. First, prime your face and eyes. You will need a good base before applying makeup because it will give the makeup something to stick to and won't fall out as quickly. Use an eyeshadow brush to apply a light pink eye shadow shade all over the lid. Take an eye crease brush and mix a lilac and a dark purple and trace out the crease of your eye. Blend it out with your blending brush. You can really exaggarate and elongate the eye to make it look like a cat with the purple shadow. It's Halloween, it doesn...

Skincare | Tips Using a Lemon

Image
Hey guys Today's blogtober is a little bit less related to Halloween, like I was planning to do, but because I love my viewers I might do 3 BlogTobers this week. Today's post is beauty tips with a lemon. Lemons can be used for a number of different purposes like cooking or baking with, putting on your glass in the summer or decoration, but it can be used for skincare too. I didn't really get any inspiration to use a lemon. I knew some of the skincare uses for lemons already but I never really tried them. After trying them last night, I will be buying lemons religiously. At 30p each in Sainsburys, I can afford to dedicate my entire skincare routine to lemons. Before I show you what to do with lemons, I need to throw a couple of notices here. - If you have sensitive skin or are allergic to lemons or citrus etc, do NOT use these tutorials. - The night before you use the lemon, cut it in half, wrap in cling film and put in the fridge overnight. - Cleanse y...

BlogTober: My Photography

Image
Hey guys Today I am showing you some of my favourite photographs that I have taken in and out of the photography lessons. Some of these photos have been photoshopped but some have not been edited in any way. This was one of the sunsets from when we were in Sri Lanka a few months ago. You would be surprised to find out that this has not been edited or photoshopped AND it was taken with an iPhone 4S as well. I love this photo because the colours in the sky are beautiful and the clouds add a hint of drama to it as well. This is one of my photos from photography lessons. They are inspired by Emmanuel Sougez. This is an inspiration of a photo I found on Google. This photo makes me think of summer because it has a warm effect after I photoshopped it. And I love leopard print, too :) This is a photo of some blackberries from down the farm. I love it because the leaves in the background a blurry which makes the blackberries stand out mo...

Hey guys Today I am doing a really quick post because I am meant to be doing photography but since the teacher isn't here I can get away with blogging. Excuse me one moment while I go beat up my friend... OK now she has been beaten up, I am going to start with my Favourite Things about October :) 1) October is usally when Christmas sweets come out. If any of you guys know me, you would know how addicted I am to snow bites. In the last 15 days I have had a total of 6 bags of Snow Bites. Oops... so this is one of the reasons why I love october. SNOW BITES COME OUT!!! 2) It is a change of season and it starts to get colder. Since I am in Sixth Form now, I get to buy some jumpers and warm stuff. I love the cold weather and I love to wrap up warm for it as well so buying clothe...

First Impression Review | Natural Collection Lip Sticks and Glosses

Image
Today's review is a continuation of the Natural Collection Eye Shadow Review I did last week. This time I'm reviewing the lipsticks and glosses from the same collection. I purchased some lipsticks and glosses at £1.99 each. In Boots, there is a buy 1 get one half price offer on these products so it's worth going to see what other products they had.

Tutorial | Teal and Polka Dot Nails

Image
Hey guys Today I decided to do a nail tutorial since I was wearing my false nails. I found this look on Google but I added the teal colour to make it my own.  For the first step, prep your nails by buffing filing, trimming cuticles and applying a base coat.                                                 Apply one coat of a teal nail polish. I used ELF Nail Polish in Teal. Wait for it to dry and apply a second coat.                                                  This next step you can either stick tape over the bottom diagonal half of your nail for a crisp, straight edge or you can use a free hand if its steady. Paint the top diagonal half of your nails black. I used MUA Nail Polish in Shade 2.       ...
