Galaxy Eye Makeup Tutorial

This is a dramatic out-of-this-world inspired makeup look which uses blues and purples to create a Galaxy  inspired look.

Since we are using a lot of dark shades, make sure you have primed your eyes and applied a good base of white eyeliner so the colour appears brighter and stays for longer.
Using a flat shadow brush, I mixed together three different shades; midnight blue, a dark black-purple and a tiny amount of black and patted this in a nice opaque block of colour on the outer half of the lid and in the crease.
With the same brush, fill in the rest of the lid, excluding the inner corner, with an electric purple mixed with the same purple-black shade as before.
Soften the edges of the purple and blue with a matte toffee colour and a fluffy blending brush and fill in the inner corners with this shade. Take a dampened cotton bud and create a sharp edge to the blue. Then take some silver glitter and very lightly dust this just on the purple and blue. Use a makeup wipe to remove any fallout from around the eye area.
I'm using a few different eyeliners and I am using a liquid eyeliner to create a winged line on my upper lash line and I am using a black kajal eyeliner on my waterline. Use an angled brush to apply a thin line of black eye shadow on the lower lash line and with a dense smoky eye brush, blend this out to soften the line.
Curl your lashes and apply mascara. On my lips, I am using Collection Galactica Lip Balm in the shade Moon Rock. This is a neutral colour which complements the eye makeup and balances the look out.
