January 2015 Favourites

It is the end of the first month of the new year and this is my first Monthly Favourites for 2015. Over the last 4 weeks, I have been loving quite a few different makeup and beauty products and these products have made it into the first monthly favourites of 2015.
Lip liners have been one of my guilty pleasures this month and I have been trying and buying so many different ones. MUA Cosmetics launched a clear lip liner last year and I purchased it just after Christmas. The clear lip liner can be used as a barrier for lipstick, preventing the colour from bleeding onto the skin and making a big mess. This easily glides around the edge of the lips and is completely invisible. It's matte so you can't even see any shine or residue from the product. This has kept my lipstick on my lips for so much longer and this was only £1.
I have been breaking out quite badly these last few weeks but thankfully I have had the MUA Cosmetics Pro Base Prime and Conceal to counteract the discolouration. These different coloured concealers have been a saviour for me. They are creamy formulas that blend really nicely into the skin and effectively neutralises redness, darkness and dull areas in the skin. This has an amazing retail price of £4 so when I finish this I will be straight into Superdrug to purchase another one.
The final product I have been loving this month are the Johnsons Face Care Makeup Be Gone Pampering Wipes. These are suitable for all skin types and these are amazing at removing makeup quickly. They have a really nice scent of Moonflower which is relaxing, like it claims on the packet, and this lingers on the skin for a short amount of time which isn't too overpowering.

Hey guys Today I thought of doing a quick post today. Today I wanted to do a 'How To' post and this one is Applying False Nails. Even though it's easy, you need to do it properly so they look as natural as possible. And I'm going to tell you how I apply my false nails. You need: False Nails (you can get them cheap in supermarkets, makeup stores etc) Nail Glue (most nails come with glue, but you can buy glue at Superdrug for around £4 ( www.superdrug.co.uk ) Cuticle Pusher or cuticle stick Nail scissors (curved work best) Emery board 1) Begin by selecting the false nails that best fit your natural nail. It needs to be accurate because it will look more realistic. 2) Use a cuticle stick/pusher and gently push your cuticles back to avoid the nail sticking to it (which, will hurt if you take them off!!) MUA Cosmetics Review

Hey everyone Last week for my birthday, I went shopping and while I was in Superdrug and I  picked up some things from MUA (Makeup Academy). There are some products here I haven't tried, one product I have but not this particular name. I actually fell in love with this brand when it was a very small company when everything was £1! Then the company expanded which made me very happy and so I tried   these products and I have mixed reviews. The first product I am reviewing is the BB Cream. This is £4 in the MUA online store ( www.muastore.co.uk ) or in Superdrug ( www.superdrug.com ). I wanted a BB Cream because I find foundation is too heavy and is bad for your skin and I started to go off tinted moisturizer. Anyway, for the price in general is OK for the product. I bought Shade Medium last week and I think this is a bit too dark for me even though the medium and light shade are very similar.
