It's been a while since we've seen something new from MUA Cosmetics on the shelves of Superdrug. As I was *browsing* through my local store, I saw that this brand had released some new products so I hesitantly bought their new foundation and primer but being optimistic I thought I'd give it a go.

Today's tutorial features a purple-halo eye makeup look which has been something I've been wearing a lot recently as I think it's perfect for an everyday look.

I wanted this Easter makeup look to be a little bit different from what I've done before and from what I've seen other people do. I wanted the main colour focus to be 'Bitten' by Makeup Geek and I also wanted to incorporate glitter and add a little bit of definition and to make it smokey.

Let's be honest, ladies, we all probably have one or two makeup products in our makeup bags that we've been hoarding because its a pretty colour or has nice packaging - but using old expired makeup isn't going to be doing you any favours. One makeup product I don't usually buy are blushes and L'Oreal is a brand I've recently started to enjoy experimenting with so I was really excited when I saw these Blush Sculpt Trio Contouring Blush, £7.99 each, and there are three different shades and I decided to pick up two of them; shade 101 Soft Sand and 102 Nude Beige.

St. Patricks Day is coming up later in the week and I've done a makeup tutorial every year for the last few years now, and I thought this was the perfect opportunity to share this makeup look I created; it's a glamorous golden eye makeup look with pop of colour from a rainbow design on the lower lash line.

Recently I've been trying out different foundations suited for my oily/combination skin type and I have seen the Soap & Glory Heck of a Blot Foundation, £12, pop up on Twitter and Bloglovin' so I decided to give it a try. One of the main things I look for in a mascara is length and volume and judging from the new Maybelline mascara, "the Falsies Push Up Drama" mascara, £7.99, I was hoping that this would achieve that false-lash effect I look for.

I recently treated myself to two of the Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Cream Eye Shadow Sticks, and let me tell you... they're stunning! I created this simple, yet striking, everyday smokey eye makeup look using the two shades that I have which are called "Almond Eyes" and "Feline Fox".
