Haul | Birthday Makeup February 2014

As some of you may know my birthday was on the 18th, and I bought some makeup with the money I got. I was expecting to buy more makeup but I decided I actually wanted to save some money now. So this is what I got with my own birthday money and I will be doing reviews of this stuff soon so stay tuned for that.

The first thing I picked up was an older MUA Palette. This is the Pop-Tastic palette and has some really gorgeous bright, vivid shades and is available for £4.
   This is the Purple Eye Palette by Collection. I think this is actually the first Collection Palette I have bought... I was going to get this before my birthday but chose the MUA Pretty Edgy Palette instead. I chose the purple one as opposed to the natural, smokey or blue because I like purple and I haven't really got any purple palettes so I decided to buy this for £3.99

This is something I got from Boots and was recommended to me by several people. It is the Phwoarr Paint Under eye concealer by Seventeen (ha, my age!) My ark circles can be quite bad so I decided to give this a try. I bought this for £5.49.  


This is another thing by Collection. I think it is fairly new but I've seen it in Superdrug before but I wanted to get it. It is the 5 in 1 Does it All Mascara, £3.99, which is supposed to lengthen, curl, volumise, condition and is meant to be long lasting. You can read the review for this here.

Hey guys Today I thought of doing a quick post today. Today I wanted to do a 'How To' post and this one is Applying False Nails. Even though it's easy, you need to do it properly so they look as natural as possible. And I'm going to tell you how I apply my false nails. You need: False Nails (you can get them cheap in supermarkets, makeup stores etc) Nail Glue (most nails come with glue, but you can buy glue at Superdrug for around £4 ( www.superdrug.co.uk ) Cuticle Pusher or cuticle stick Nail scissors (curved work best) Emery board 1) Begin by selecting the false nails that best fit your natural nail. It needs to be accurate because it will look more realistic. 2) Use a cuticle stick/pusher and gently push your cuticles back to avoid the nail sticking to it (which, will hurt if you take them off!!) MUA Cosmetics Review

Hey everyone Last week for my birthday, I went shopping and while I was in Superdrug and I  picked up some things from MUA (Makeup Academy). There are some products here I haven't tried, one product I have but not this particular name. I actually fell in love with this brand when it was a very small company when everything was £1! Then the company expanded which made me very happy and so I tried   these products and I have mixed reviews. The first product I am reviewing is the BB Cream. This is £4 in the MUA online store ( www.muastore.co.uk ) or in Superdrug ( www.superdrug.com ). I wanted a BB Cream because I find foundation is too heavy and is bad for your skin and I started to go off tinted moisturizer. Anyway, for the price in general is OK for the product. I bought Shade Medium last week and I think this is a bit too dark for me even though the medium and light shade are very similar.
