Today I have a photo post for you of when we took the dogs to the pond on the common. We fed the ducks and my dog had a very good time jumping in and out of the water and swimming and chasing after the bread we threw in!

When it comes to makeup and beauty products, I have a few holy grails worth sharing with you and these are the products that no matter what I would always repurchase, use everyday and even sometimes use on other people and recommend to them if I am doing their makeup for them.

So this months haul is a bit of a biggie because I got my first big payslip and I went a bit too crazy. I've been craving going on a huge shopping trip like I used to do and I wanted to go crazy one last time. Now I've become an adult I'm realising that money needs to go to more important things rather than into the till of Superdrug or Primark or wherever so next month might be less crazy but I did buy essential clothing pieces for Autumn but as you know makeup is my weakness and that's where it slightly tumbled.

YouTuber's, other bloggers and even people I speak to about makeup all talk about one brush brand in particular and that is Zoeva brushes. I've stuck to similar brushes for years and now I'm starting to do makeup on people and branching into makeup courses and all that, I wanted to get some more professional looking brushes that didn't cost the earth and Zoeva were the first ones I thought of.

It's been a while since I've done a 'What's in my Bag' post so this is an updated one.

Today's tutorial is a mermaid inspired purple eye look. This is a really simple look to create and I absolutely love how it turned out. I am using the Makeup Revolution Mermaids Forever Palette and selecting some purple shades as the main colour theme for the look and I am also using a solo MUA shadow to add some more depth later on.

In hindsight, we all look back at the things we did when we were younger; the good, the bad and the ugly and it gave me inspiration to write this post and share the things that I would tell my younger, 13-year-old-self. And yes, I am 13 in that photo on the left, the one with that super fab red jacket.

After their successful Speedy Blushes, Collection have now launched their own 'Speedy Highlighter' in the shade Pearl Sheen and this retails at £3.99. This is the only shade available and Collection say that this is a 'silky smooth pearlescent shimmer that creates a radiant glow in an instant.'

 While I was browsing through Superdrug, I spotted this incredible product. This is the Master Ink Liquid Liner from Maybelline, £4.99, and there was three different finishes available; matte, gloss and satin and I chose the matte finish. My go-to liquid liner is the Seventeen High Drama Intense Liquid Liner although this one has the potential to be my top eyeliner.

New from MUA Cosmetics, the Amour Eyeshadow Palette contains 10 eye shadows and 2 cream metallic shades and this retails for £5 and includes a brush. This says you can 'create a unique and individual look with this multi-use palette!' There is also another shade option available.

Recently on my blog I reviewed the incredible new Naked Smoky palette from Urban Decay and in that blog post I did a tutorial using the palette. Since I love the palette so much I wanted to do a different tutorial and I absolutely love this look, its a halo themed smoky eye and its a great look to wear on a night out.

Its Friday and I wanted today's post to be a bit different and I wanted it to be a bit more laid back. I was shopping in the supermarket and no shopping trip is complete without raiding the sweet aisle and I came across some of the sweets I use to have when I was a child which actually was quite a long time ago now. I purchased a bunch of different sweets that I could remember having as a child and trying all of these sweets has definitely made me feel nostalgic.

The most recent addition into the drugstore contour kit family is this one by Collection, retailing at £4.19. There is only one shade option available and it contains two shades; one highlight and one contour.
