A Mascara that is 'Better Than Sex'?


It isn't often that I spend so much money on one mascara, my go to mascara is the Lash Sensational from Maybelline but Debenhams had 10% off Beauty and Fragrance recently so I decided to try this Too Faced 'Better Than Sex' Mascara which originally costs £19.
I really like the packaging of this mascara, it looks really fancy and has some stats about the increase of length and volume.
The actual mascara tube is a beautiful light pink colour and is ceramic with the name of the mascara embossed onto the side.
The shape of the wand is an hourglass shape 'inspired by the bust-waist-hip ratio of an iconic silver screen Blonde Bombshell'. The bristles of the carbon black, collagen-fuelled mascara 'separates, coats and curls each lash to voluminous perfection' with each coat achieving a different lash effect. There was no excess mascara on the wand after taking it out of the tube.
This is my lashes when they are curled with no mascara on so you can see the difference with one and two coats.
One Coat
The lashes look longer, slightly thicker and are separated really nicely.
Two Coats
You can see more volume with two coats and again, nice separation to the lashes and it wasn't clumpy at all.
Here you can see the difference between no mascara and two coats of mascara. The lashes visibly look longer, thicker and more defined. You can even go up to three coats if you wanted to.
Overall, there is a significant difference in the appearance of the lashes. It is not clumpy, the mascara wand glides through the lashes with ease and importantly, the mascara does not flake off and it is long lasting. However, this isn't a waterproof mascara but it is easy to remove at the end of the day.

MUA Cosmetics Review

Hey everyone Last week for my birthday, I went shopping and while I was in Superdrug and I  picked up some things from MUA (Makeup Academy). There are some products here I haven't tried, one product I have but not this particular name. I actually fell in love with this brand when it was a very small company when everything was £1! Then the company expanded which made me very happy and so I tried   these products and I have mixed reviews. The first product I am reviewing is the BB Cream. This is £4 in the MUA online store ( www.muastore.co.uk ) or in Superdrug ( www.superdrug.com ). I wanted a BB Cream because I find foundation is too heavy and is bad for your skin and I started to go off tinted moisturizer. Anyway, for the price in general is OK for the product. I bought Shade Medium last week and I think this is a bit too dark for me even though the medium and light shade are very similar.
