Today's tutorial is a festival inspired makeup look using the MUA Cosmetics Tropical Oceana Palette. I think with a festival makeup look, anything goes, but I wanted to make it bright, fun and something that would stand out. I also had to bring in some glitter and rhinestones to make it extra glamourous!

Welcome back to another makeup tutorial, I do apologise for the lack of posts recently; I haven't had as much time on my hands as I used to but I have some awesome new tutorials lined up starting with this look. Using shades from the Too Faced Sweet Peach palette, I created this Spring-inspired peach eye makeup look that was wearable enough for daytime but still has a little glamourous touch!

Hello and Happy St. Patricks Day! Every year for the last few years I've done a St Patricks themed makeup tutorial so this year I created this bold green eye makeup look combined with a rainbow on the lower lash line.

Be my guest.. be my guest... put these cupcakes to the test! In honour of the upcoming release of the highly-anticipated live action remake of Beauty and the Beast starring Emma Watson, I made these Belle-inspired cupcakes, each decorated with a handmade fondant rose. I made mine a salted caramel flavour but they are so versatile that you can choose any flavour you want; lemon would compliment the theme nicely, chocolate would make an amazing contrast or even red velvet will match the red rose. Either way, these cupcakes are super easy to make and look so elegant and are perfect for any occasion. I am also going to demonstrate how to make a rose out of fondant icing in this post as well.

This claims to be a full coverage foundation, long wearing and with a matte and weightless finish that provides a high coverage. The shade that I have number 9 called Light Sand.

You've probably heard of the Kylie Jenner Lip Kits and now we are beginning to see more affordable alternatives from drugstore brands. Today I am comparing the Barry M Matte Me Up Lip Kit in Pose to the Makeup Revolution Retro Luxe Matte Lip Kit in Reign. Hello and welcome back to my blog, how are you all today? The day I did this look was on my birthday and it was a surprisingly sunny day for February, so I was inspired to create this rainbow cut crease tutorial which I also used glitter and rhinestones for. This also gave me a perfect opportunity to use my new NYX Ultimate Shadow Palette in Brights.

On Saturday, I hit my 20s. I celebrated my birthday with a karaoke night and a dinner over the weekend and this was the look that I wore for the occasion. I used the Urban Decay Naked Smoky palette for this look which is one of my go-to palettes for a party makeup look. Its been a while since we've seen new products from MUA, and since it has been so long I began to anticipate that a huge new launch was on the cards - and it was! I saw on Instagram that the brand had released a whole bunch of exciting new products and I instantly ordered some of them to try out. This post is about my first impressions and over the next few months, I will review them in a bit more detail.

Since Valentines Day is next week, I thought that it would be the perfect opportunity to use the Sleek 'Vintage Romance' Eye Shadow Palette to create a dramatic and stunning makeup look which will be great for a hot date or catching attention from admirers!

Welcome back everyone! In my last post I talked about the Too Faced Sweet Peach palette and as promised, this post is a tutorial using some of the shades from the palette to create a soft and wearable cut crease which is perfect for a Valentines Day look.

Since I really like the Chocolate Bar palettes by Too Faced, I jumped at the chance to get my hands on the Sweet Peach palette! Inspired by the sweet summery fruit, this 18 shade palette contains a perfect range of peach-toned pinks, purples and bronze colours to help you achieve sweet-as-peach makeup looks all year round!

A few months ago I introduced coconut oil into my beauty routine as a natural and more gentle alternative than store-bought products. Coconut oil has natural moisturising and soothing properties that are simple and effective so today I am sharing with you my top three beauty tricks using coconut oil.

Recently I got one of the NYX Single Eye Shadows in the shade called Mermaid and I was inspired by this beautiful aqua-blue to create a mermaid themed look so I combined blues and purple for a bright and fun eye makeup tutorial.

This is just one of the many new products set to come out in time for Spring as part of the new collection by Maybelline. This is the 24 Karate Nudes Palette, an extension on the already-existing 'The Nudes' Palettes. The palette features 12 shades described as being 'expertly curated shades for custom eye makeup looks'. 

I didn't want the title of this post to make me sound vain, but I don't really have a name for this look. I have worn this look a lot recently and it's one of my favourite looks to wear at the moment. Since I always seem to catch a lot of attention from this metallic smoky eye, I thought I'd turn it into a blog post. I think this look is great for a night out or maybe a date night or something like that. I am using the Naked Smoky Palette from Urban Decay as well as another one of my favourite products for this look.

Over the years since I started my blog in 2012, my makeup collection has rapidly expanded in size and it's important to be able to efficiently store and organise makeup for many different reasons; to be able to find a product I'm looking for, to improve and maintain the lifespan of a makeup product and mainly because I want my set-up to look professional. Recently I tackled the task of sorting through my makeup palettes and I had discovered so many palettes that I forgot I even had due to being poorly organised in a drawer. I did a post last year of my makeup collection and storage  but this time I wanted to show you easy and effective ways of organising makeup.

You can buy these in Superdrug and it contains one lip pencil and one liquid lipstick and is described as a 'lip contour'.
