Makeup Revolution Makeup Geek Palette

This palette in the Makeup Revolution I <3 Makeup Collection has been on my wish list for so long and I was so excited to see that it was a freebie in my latest MUR order. This is available online for £7.99 and contains '36 indulgent super pigmented eye shadows'.

The Makeup Geek Slogan Palette has every shade you could possibly want for any kind of makeup look. It is packaged in a box and there is a cut out in the front so you can see the front of the palette.
On the back there is a guide of shades in the palette.
MUR say that this palette is a 'flashing' compact with a unique 'moving logo' and what they mean by that is that the logo on the palette has a holographic effect so it changes colour and design when you turn the palette which I think is so cool.
The palette is quite compact and it is very thin. It has a sturdy and secure clip that keeps the palette closed and then when you open it you see the generously sized internal mirror with a plastic sheet over the shadows. There is also two mini duo sponge tip applicators.
All the other MUR palettes that has this feature has the names of the shades printed on but instead this one reads 'All the Shades, Every Look, I am a Geek'.
When you open the palette there is the massive mirror and a beautiful range of super colourful shades. The combination of warm, cool, bright and neutral shades made this the perfect palette for travelling as it contains an incredibly versatile bunch of colours and you can create so many makeup looks with this.
The shades are mainly shimmery with a few matte colours mixed in but the consistencies of each eyeshadow is gorgeously smooth, creamy, not at all crumbly and super blendable.
I was completely mesmerised about the fantastic pigmentation of the shadows. You can see the bits of shimmer in there and each one is amazingly pigmented and opaque.
Overall I can definitely say this is a palette worth getting your hands on. The eye shadows are such high quality, amazingly pigmented and effortlessly blendable. It's a great palette to take travelling because it's also very compact and quite weightless as well, plus the price tag is super affordable.

What are your thoughts on this palette?
